Cookie Policy
Last updated: 4 September 2026
This policy explains how mik.rent, the guest booking site of MIKstay, uses cookies and similar local-storage technologies, and how you can control them. Non-essential cookies are only set after you consent through the cookie banner; you can change your choice at any time.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Related technologies such as local storage serve a similar purpose. They let a site remember choices between pages and visits.
2. What we use
- Essential: your language, your cookie choice, the bot-protection check on the booking form, and the security of a payment redirect. These are needed for the site to work and are always set.
- Preferences: remembered search filters such as dates and guests, so you do not retype them.
- Measurement, only with your consent: anonymous visit statistics that help us see which pages work.
3. No advertising cookies
mik.rent does not run third-party advertising networks and does not use cookies to build cross-site advertising profiles.
4. Managing your choices
Use the cookie banner when you first visit, or clear the site's data in your browser to see it again. Your browser also lets you block or delete cookies; blocking essential ones may stop the booking form from working.
